Saw the dog really quickly. Excellent vet, even though the dog was not co-operative!! Time for a chat afterwards as well.

Have been using Penbode Stratton for six years, originally with 3 dogs but sadly only one now but I can honestly say the entire staff have been absolutely fantastic, reception, nurses and vets I couldn’t fault anyone for their friendliness and their professionalism they have cared for my dogs like they were their own and have helped me through two very sad days. I would without doubt recommend the practice to anyone.

I can’t fault Penbode always been amazing, vets, nurses always polite kind and very compassionate.

A thorough check up and booster jab for my two cats. Returned home with helpful information and advice. Very pleased customer.

We are not registered with Penbode Vets, just holidaying in the area, and this week had a medical emergency in the evening with one of our dogs. Penbode Vets offered us an immediate appointment at their 24 hour facility where we, and our dog, were treated with professionalism, kindness and courtesy and our whippet received possibly life saving treatment. The cost of the treatment was also considerably less than we would have paid at our regular vets. We cannot rate Penbode Vets highly enough.

My cat needed urgent care and got an appointment straight away. All staff very helpful and caring, always going the extra mile! The vet was gentle and thorough with Smudge and I had a good understanding about after care.

As you see five stars why? On holiday in Bude when our dog Mabel took ill. Rang at opening time 09.00 Julie informed me they were fully booked for the day but bring Mabel in. Five minute wait to see Kate the vet. Kate examined Mabel suggested getting bloods done which we did. She advised us on some wet dog food to try her on and what she thought was wrong with Mabel. Blood results came back couple or three hours later and was informed by a call antibiotics should be administered. Went and got them and Mabel is now on the mend. Kate suggested we get Mabel into our own vet when we return home which we will do. I cannot fault the service received from all the staff there and would highly recommend them for people like us on holiday away from their own vets practice. A big thank you from myself and my wife, it’s not often these days that you get such excellent service which we received

I cannot recommend Penbode Vets highly enough, they are absolutely fantastic! The staff are all so friendly, professional, and caring, and I’ve always felt that my pets are in the best possible hands. A special mention has to go to Pas, the exotic vet, who has been brilliant with my bearded dragon he’s so knowledgeable, patient, and reassuring. I also want to thank Kate, who treated one of my cats in an emergency situation last year and carried out surgery she was fantastic made me feel at ease which made such a difference during a very stressful time. And today, Josh saw another one of my cats for her booster vaccine he was incredibly thorough and attentive, and I was extremely impressed with the level of care he provided. It’s clear that everyone at Penbode genuinely cares about the animals they see, and I’m so grateful for the excellent service they provide.

Fantastic vets! We have a 13 year old house rabbit and finding a vet who specializes in rabbits was not an easy feat. Thankfully we found Pas who is exceptional and extremely knowledgeable. I feel very confident knowing our rabbit is in safe hands as he goes forward in his final years. Every time I have contacted the surgery everyone is polite and friendly and does the utmost to give me the help we need whilst remaining professional and efficient. Well done and thank you all.

I called the practice at around 10am and asked for a particular Vet who had been recommended to me and the lady on reception was extremely helpful and managed to fit me in that morning . On arrival with my little bird Ganny who is a Cockatiel I was told that I would be seen shortly . Within ten minutes a gentleman by the name of Pas came over and introduced himself and took my sick little bird for examination . I immediately realized that not only was Pas a vet he was a caring person as well ! I straight away realized that although Ganny was quite sick she was in the best place.possible for her recovery . Since her initial examination I have been called twice by Pas and given an update on tests that he has performed and in my opinion has gone above and beyond in keeping me reassured . After a lot of searching I believe I have finally found a practice where my little birds will receive the best care possible . Thank you to Penbode and especially Pas for caring .
