A very good vet that has looked after my animals well. There is always a wait that can be a bit tedious when you are getting a repeat and are in a hurry. Has benefited from a recent upgrade, reception is much more animal friendly.

Thank you for all you did for my Lucy. She was my very special cat. I was so lucky to have 18 & 1/2 years with her. She is going to be so missed. My heart is broken. I have never loved a cat so much. I've lost 2 other cats over the years, but there was something different about Lucy. She was always there for me when I was poorly. She always knew when I needed that bit of comfort. I know I did what was right for her, it was so hard to see the way she was in those last few hours I had with her. Thank you again. Julia Vickers 😥😥💔

Our ESS Safi (9 1/2), became very ill overnight, and was seen by the vets at Albert Cottage Vets (ACV), the next day. Bloods, trays and scans were done, and treatment commenced immediately. However, Safi's condition deteriorated, and Natalie (Vet), immediately took more bloods, and referred Safi on to a specialist vet out of county. If ACV had not recognised the disease (IMTP), and acted quickly, then Safi would not be with us now. I can not praise Albert Cottage Vets - and all the staff from reception to nurses to vets enough. Safi is still recovering and still on treatment...but she is still with us and a happy girl!

From walking in you’re greeted warmly by the receptionist, the waiting area is beautifully clean and there’s a relaxed atmosphere, which is great when you have an elderly, excitable pug as we have. The vet was fab and he handled Frank with an ease and friendliness and a good understanding of the breed. Communication was great. Explanation of what the problem was, how we go about fixing it, what meds he was going to prescribe and why, was crystal clear. If you want to take your pet to a vets that’s warm, welcoming and friendly, that treats you and your pet like family members but still remaining highly professional, I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Albert Cottage, it’s worth every star.
